These have become a favorite for breakfasts on the run or just a snack during the day, and sometimes just because. So simple and easy to personalize to your families tastes.   1 cup of Oatmeal  (if you are gluten free be sure they are labeled or they may be cross contaminated) 2/3 cup of coconut flakes OR 2/3 cup of finely chopped walnuts (my son doesn't like coconut so we use the walnuts) 1/2 cup peanut butter or almond butter (I use organic peanut butter) 1/2 cup ground Continue Reading

Who took the Health out of Healthcare?

facebooktwitterpinterestmailfacebooktwitterpinterestmail

I write this as a way to heal from the trauma of an incident our family experienced when we took our son to the hospital, while suffering from dehydration.  Every parent’s nightmare is a sick child and it's not like this is the first time but it was the blatant lack of empathy and indifference that makes me wonder when our healthcare system forgot we are human.   In August, out of desperation and having tried to fight off an illness, my husband and I decided to take our son in to see Continue Reading

Why are we SO sick? Here is some information to make you think about taking control of your health.   Everyday I see people who have been seeing Doctors for years with no results, or, who have  gotten worse.   What has happened to our health care system?  Why in North America are we one of the richest, most advanced cultures, but we are the sickest?   Right from when I was young I knew that garbage in equaled garbage out; and I am not talking about Continue Reading

Can Bioresonance help you?

facebooktwitterpinterestmailfacebooktwitterpinterestmail

When I tell people what I do I get a lot of "what the heck is that".  Bioresonance therapy is fairly new to Canada but has been in Germany for over 30 years.  It is a machine that  you put your feet on stainless steel plates and hold cylinders attached to the machine, while I put vials (filled with water and a frequency) in the machine and test for what is in your body.  I do this for the first 30 minutes then the last hour and a half we put those vials back into the machine to Continue Reading

Lessons learned in Vegas!

Freemont

As most of you know it's been a long winter here in Winnipeg and I work out of my home, which can make for long days when you aren't leaving your home for days.  I could have been a bear and hibernate winters, but I find getting away to some sun and heat helps make the winters bearable! One day a few weeks ago, my husband and I decided to drop into a neighborhood travel agent to see if there were any deals to somewhere warm.   The agent talked to us about Old Vegas and Freemont Street.  We've Continue Reading

If you have pets, you are probably  like me.  They are part of the family and their health is as important as your own.  Well my daughter Miranda, who owns 2 cats and a horse is no different. Four years ago, my daughter and I were Facebook chatting while I was on vacation in the Dominican Republic. She was very excited because she had been given a foal in exchange for some photography work.   I did try to remind her that she did live in an apartment and that horses cost money; but I knew she Continue Reading

Earth Day 2014

Earth Day

It thought it important to share Louise Hay's Earth Day Meditation, as she so eloquently stated how I feel about this earth. I think it is important for all us to start taking a role in healing and helping this earth and we need to be honest about what is actually hurting the earth, and in turn all who live on it. This earth provides for us not just oxygen but also nourishment and has abundant resources for healing,  as long as we take care of it the earth will be there for us.  If we all Continue Reading
